The quickest and most practical way to reach FEUP from the airport (if you are not using a taxi or ride-hailing apps such as Uber or Bolt) is the metro:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Follow the instructions in the &#8220;By Metro&#8221; section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Take <strong>Line E (Purple)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Alight at <strong>Trindade<\/strong> station to change lines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Transfer to <strong>Line D (Yellow)<\/strong>, heading towards &#8220;Hospital de S\u00e3o Jo\u00e3o&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"#top\" data-type=\"internal\" data-id=\"#top\">[top]<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"By-Train\"><strong>By Train<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you arrive in Porto via the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cp.pt\/passageiros\/en\"> CP &#8211; Comboios de Portugal<\/a> train network (Alfa Pendular or Intercidades), you have two main options:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Campanh\u00e3 Station:<\/strong> This is the city&#8217;s main railway station. Take any available metro line (A, B, C, or E), alight at <strong>Trindade station<\/strong>, and change to <strong>Line D (Yellow)<\/strong> heading towards Hospital de S\u00e3o Jo\u00e3o. Alternatively, you can take the direct STCP bus route 404 (towards Hospital de S\u00e3o Jo\u00e3o).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>S\u00e3o Bento Station:<\/strong> Located in the heart of the historic center. Take <strong>Line D (Yellow)<\/strong> of the metro directly towards Hospital de S\u00e3o Jo\u00e3o.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Follow the instructions in the &#8220;By Metro&#8221; section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"#top\" data-type=\"internal\" data-id=\"#top\">[top]<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"metro\"><strong>By Metro<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The<a href=\"https:\/\/en.metrodoporto.pt\/\"> Metro do Porto<\/a> network is modern and highly intuitive. You can consult and download the full<a href=\"https:\/\/www.metrodoporto.pt\/metrodoporto\/uploads\/document\/file\/471\/mapa_de_rede.pdf\"> Metro Network Map here<\/a>. FEUP is served directly by <strong>Line D (Yellow)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>IPO Station:<\/strong> Upon exiting the station, walk along Rua do Dr. Pl\u00e1cido da Costa until you reach the junction with Rua Dr. Roberto Frias. Cross the road, and you will be facing FEUP&#8217;s main entrance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Hospital de S\u00e3o Jo\u00e3o Station (Terminus):<\/strong> Upon exiting, follow Estrada da Circunvala\u00e7\u00e3o until the junction with Rua Dr. Roberto Frias. Walk down this street until you intersect with Rua do Dr. Pl\u00e1cido da Costa. FEUP will be on your left.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"#top\" data-type=\"internal\" data-id=\"#top\">[top]<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"By-Bus\"><strong>By Bus (STCP Network)<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Asprela University Campus (P\u00f3lo Universit\u00e1rio da Asprela) is one of the city&#8217;s main transport hubs. You can use several routes from the <a href=\"https:\/\/stcp.pt\/en\/lines\">STCP bus network<\/a>, such as the 204, 205, 300, or 803, which have stops conveniently located right outside the faculty or in its immediate vicinity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"#top\" data-type=\"internal\" data-id=\"#top\">[top]<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"By-Car\"><strong>By Car and Parking<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you choose to drive or hire a car, the campus offers straightforward access. Entry to FEUP&#8217;s car parks is via the <strong>Via Estruturante<\/strong> (a road perpendicular to Rua Dr. Roberto Frias), which wraps around the southern perimeter of the faculty.
